LMR Lodge is in Observatory, Cape Town. We are on a bustling corner of this historic suburb, surrounded by small businesses and private homes that are among the oldest buildings in South Africa.
We provide comfortable and affordable accommodation that is ideally located, close to the public transport network (walking distance to the train station and taxis), and to the humming nightlife that characterises the area. Whether you need transport, internet access, groceries, take-out food, pubs, restaurants – it’s all a short walk away.
We are a 10 minute drive to and from the airport, and less than 2km away from the city centre.
We are a new lodge with 40 rooms that we are in the process of renovating. Our first phase is complete, giving us 10 rooms on offer right away. By the end of 2010, all 40 rooms will be fully renovated and ready for use. |

We have noted the ongoing criticisms that:
